Halloween (finally)

I forgot to post our Halloween pictures.  Kimbrie and Brynli were ladybug girls,
from the book" Ladybug girl and bumblebee boy"  It is the cutest book about
the adventures of a little girl.  Hayden was a skeleton.

My brother Cade and his family, Aren't they cute Monkeys!
They just recently moved from Logan and we really miss them.

 Tacee ended up
being a glow worm for Halloween that day her billirubun came back extremely high
and within an hour the Dr had arranged for Billi lights so she spent the
next three days as our little glow worm !

I am THANKFUL for Small Blessings

I found this quote on Ty's cousins blog and liked it so I thought I
would copy it and share it.

I am thankful for the wife who says it's hot dogs tonight,
because she is home with me, and not out with someone else.
For the husband who is on the sofa being a couch potato,
because he is home with me and not out at the bars.
For the teenager who is complaining about doing dishes
because that means she is at home, not on the streets.

For the taxes that I pay because it means that I am employed.

For the mess to clean after a party because it means that
 I have been surroundedby friends.
For the clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have enough to eat.

For my shadow that watches me work because it means
I am out in the sunshine.  For a lawn that needs mowing,
windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need
fixing because it means I have a home.

For all the complaining I hear about the government because
it means that we have freedom of speech.
For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot
because it means that I have been blessed with transportation.
For my huge heating bill because it means I am warm.

For the lady behind me in church that sings off key because it means that I can hear.
For the pile of laundry and ironing because it means I have clothes to wear.

For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day
because it means I have been capable of working hard.

For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours
because it means that I am alive.

I often find myself getting caught up in all of those wordly things and wishing I had them. But the most important things in life aren't things, its the small blessings that really matter.

Hippy Day

What a week to have a baby, there was alot going on and my Mom was so great to jump right in and just take over while I was in the hospital.  Hayden had Hippy day at school,  so my mom got him an outfit (he wouldn't wear the wig) and helped him tie die his shirt.  The best part is that the peace sigh glows in the dark!

Halloween Party

The day Tacee was born Hayden and Kimbrie had a primary party, and they were not about to miss it.  Thanks to my mom she not only got them ready but got some great pictures of them dressed up!

She's Here

Tacee
October 26, 2010
6 lbs 14 oz  19 inches

We were so excited to have Tacee here, my mom kept telling me that this little one was
going to have red hair and I just laughed.  Weren't we suprised!
After she was born she was really bruised
(you can see in the pictures)  so instead of placing her on my belly they took
her right away to exam her.  But after all the checking everything was working
and we realized that her sweet little face was really bruised from sitting in
the birth canal for so long.  On her little crib in the hospital we had a signed placed
on it that said "I have a bruised face" so that new onlookers wouldn't worry that
she was not breathing.

Luckily the bruising and swelling started to look better quicker than we excpected!
We just feel so blessed that she is healthy and strong and never went into the NICU!
